Program Information and Hours: During the school year the  Youth Center is a safe and secure drop-in program; you can relax with friends, play ping-pong or pool, watch TV, read and do homework, play PS4 games, and utilize the large computer lab. Daily hours throughout the school year are: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 7:00pm. During the summer we hosted our annual Summer Camp during the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm. The Youth Center is closed on Saturday & Sunday.

Director’s Message: School got off to a great start this year until Dorian decided to make an appearance.  I hope everyone made it through the storm safely and with little damage. The Youth Center will resume normal operating hours this Friday, September 6.  Students are reminded to be at the Youth Center before 2:30 and to have their ID for entrance. Any student arriving to the Youth Center after 2:30 will be required to show a pass signed by a teacher or coach and students are not permitted to be on FPC’s campus unsupervised after 2:30.  
 

Student Advisory Council: The SAC will meet on Monday September 9 and Thursday September 12 this month.  Any student wishing to join needs to contact Mr. Butler via email at butlerjordan@flaglerschools.com

Road to Success Program:  The RTS Youth Program has reached our 210th GED to-date, with a 97.5% success rate.   This month we have student interns working at Flagler Youth Center, Southern Insurance Associates, Flagler Humane Society and Metro Diner. Recently students completed resume writing by Career Source, Lauren from Wells Fargo conducted financial and banking workshops, students worked one on one with DSC representatives, and Sayskids provided life skills learning.

This month we have field trips scheduled to Career Source Flagler / Volusia and Daytona State College.
