Program Information and Hours: During the school year the  Youth Center is a safe and secure drop-in program; you can relax with friends, play ping-pong or pool, watch TV, read and do homework, play PS4 games, and utilize the large computer lab. Daily hours throughout the school year are: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 7:00pm. During the summer we host our annual Summer Camp during the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm. The Youth Center is closed on Saturday & Sunday.

Director’s Message

As we enter July things are really starting to heat up and not just the temperatures!  The Flagler County Youth Center has opened back up and we are hosting summer camp for 6th - incoming 9th graders!   Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have restricted the number of campers allowed and we have increased our sanitizing efforts in order to help slow the spread of the COVID-19.  The camp is currently running week to week so registration is open weekly and there are still spaces available!  The cost for the week is only $50 and we are running through July 30!  Contact us today to get registered! As we move through this pandemic, we will slowly open the facility backup to more programs and users and we are very excited and hopeful to welcome all of our students back very soon!  

Road to Success Program

This year to date RTS students have earned 226 GEDs, with 27 students who received honors.   Students are obtaining their GEDs, going into the military, getting jobs and enrolling into local colleges.  Since the crisis we have moved from classroom learning to virtual learning through Zoom.  Students received take home packets, GED books and practice tests to study at home.  RTS staff have been here and are ready and available to assist with resumes and job searching.

We have created a virtual job board for the students.  RTS is currently taking applications over the phone and through emails.  We will continue to be open year-round so youth can earn their GED before the summer ends.
