Hours of Operation: The Youth Center daily hours, throughout the Summer, for Summer Camp are: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm. The Youth Center is Closed on Saturday & Sunday.
Road to Success Program Update 2017: RTS has helped 115 young adults earn their G E Ds,12 with honors, along with life skills and pre-employment training. Workshops included networking 101, business cards, resumes, FTI overview presentation. Field trips included going to Daytona Beach Speedway for behind the scenes tour. Seven students have completed the Paid Work experience portion of the program. Students are working at local agencies like, Habitat for Humanity and Flagler Humane Society. RTS graduates attended FTIs graduation ceremony on June 7th at the Flagler Auditorium. Coming up field trips include, DSC tour, ATC tour, Museum of Science and FTI tour.

Summer Camp Updates:
2017 Staff: The 2017 Sumer Camp Staff has a wonderful balance of experience and rookies. Once again the main coordination of the Youth Center’s Summer Camp falls under the responsibilities of Brandon Seminara, the Youth Center’s Assistant Director and Flagler County Schools “Employee of the Year”. Evonne & Eric Guerrero return as Head Counselors from last summer. Their experience will help coordinate all activities with campers and their families. Returning from the 2016 staff, is Counselors Kamrin Bunn & Michael Bevacqua. Both not only worked last year, but spent many summers as camper’s throughout their school year. In the Fall, Kamrin is preparing to enter Flagler College, and Mike will return to Dayton State. New Counselors include Destiny Cole & Isabelle Hernandez. Once again, booth employees worked their way up ac program campers to employees. The 2017 staff is a super team, and should work well with all campers and their families.
New Sign-In Procedure: New this summer, every participant will sign themselves in on our new Raptor Computer Program, and will be signed out by staff, to approved individuals with the appropriate forms of ID.
Camp Championships: Every summer we sponsor Camp Championships in: 8-Ball, Ping-Pong, Jenga, Checkers, and Halo, All Champions receive a FREE trip of their choice. (Except Universal & Typhoon Lagoon).2017 Champions Include: Ping-Pong: David Samurin, 8-Ball: Sebastian Bedosky, Checkers: David Telfer, Jenga: Adyn Cox, and Halo: Kamron Davis. Congratulations to all Champions!
2017 Youth Center Summer Camp Trips: Summer Camp Trips are open to All Flagler County youth. Check out the list below, and if interested in any trips, sign-up, with payment in hand, in the Youth Center.
Trips Remaining: Skate & Shake: July 12th. NEW: July 14th: Hanger 15, Daytona, Epic Movies: July 19th, and Typhoon Lagoon: July 26th.
FYI: Summer Jam Fest: Carver Community Center Saturday, July 22nd: Mark your calendars TODAY, and prepare to attend this “FUN” event, sponsored by “Team We Care LLC”. This IS a back to school event with Food & Snacks available for purchase. On site will be free Health Screening, Bounce House, Line Dancing, Basketball Games, and Vendors.
