Hours of Operation: The Youth Center daily hours, throughout the School Year are: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 7:00pm. The building follows the school calendar. The only exception for this is when there are Special Events scheduled. The Youth Center is Closed on Saturday & Sunday. 

Road to Success Program:. This free GED/Job alternative program for youth who have been removed or left school is doing exceptionally well.  The team is getting close to graduating their 100^th student!  To enroll or obtain additional information contact: Brian Willard, RTS Program Manager.386-437-8279.

Youth Center’s SWAT: Students Working Against Tobacco Chapter Updates: Kamrin Bunn & Daniel Thomas, two current club participants are working on a project to educate the area on “Tobacco 21”.  A potential law that would elevate smoking ages to 21, it is currently 18, in the state of Florida. California has already passed a similar law, and other states are looking to join the fight against “BIG” Tobacco.

Holiday Happening: On Thursday, December 16^th, Youth Center participants were treated to a Holiday Treat give-a-way, sponsored by the Flagler County Youth Center’s Student Advisory Council.  The highlight of the event was two Gift Cards to Walmart. A $25 Gif Card was won by Andrea Nardi, and a $10 gift Card was won by Mark Scrivens. Congratulations to all!

2017 Child/ BabyFair: A group of youth representing the FPC Problem Solvers, are putting together a Child/Baby Fair, for Saturday, February 4^th, 2017, an event that is scheduled to meet the needs of babies, are youngest community members, and their families. Mark your calendars today, and plan to take advantage of this wonderful NEW event.

Black Family (Minority) Summit: Scheduled for Carver on Saturday. February 25^th, from 10am -2:00pm.  Mark your calendars NOW and plan to attend an event that will open up necessary information and conversation with Law Enforcement, Clergy, and Professionals. Hosted by Focus on Flagler Youth Coalition. Topics up for discussion include: Know the Law, Community Policing, Human Trafficking, and Faith and Today’s Youth. During lunch a “Pizza Parle” will be held to stimulate conversation between: Youth, Law Enforcement, Clergy, and Professionals. Space will be limited at this FREE event, so mark your calendars now, and plan to attend.
