Program Information and Hours: During the school year the  Youth Center is a safe and secure drop-in program; you can relax with friends, play ping-pong or pool, watch TV, read and do homework, play PS4 games, and utilize the large computer lab. Daily hours throughout the school year are: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 7:00pm. During the summer we hosted our annual Summer Camp during the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm. The Youth Center is closed on Saturday & Sunday.

Director’s Message: Summer  Camp has officially ended which can only mean one thing….BACK TO SCHOOL!  I hope all of our staff and students enjoyed their much needed break this summer and I hope you are excited to return!  Students’ first day back will be August 12. The Youth Center will be open for all students with an ID starting on August 12.  After school buses will resume operating the second week of school. Which means that students attending the Youth Center during the first week of school will need to arrange a ride to pick them up before we close at 7 pm.  We will also be hosting our Friday Night Done Right event at the Carver Center on August 9, from 7 - 9 pm. Come on down for games, pizza, and music! And Pastor Jearlyn Dennie will be holding her annual back to school jam on August 17th at the Carver Community Center.  She will be giving away all kinds of FREE back to school gear for the kids, so mark that date on your calendar!  

Friday Nights Done Right: The Flagler Sheriff’s PAL and the Focus on Flagler Youth Coalition have teamed up to bring Friday Nights Done Right to the Carver Community Center in Bunnell!  Friday Nights Done Right is a free event for Flagler Youth on the second Friday of every month. This event is designed to give our youth something fun and positive to do on a Friday night. Stop in for games, free pizza, snacks and sodas on Friday August 9th, from 7-9 pm!  

Road to Success Program:  The RTS Youth Program has reached 208 GEDs to-date, with a 97% success rate.   This month we have student interns working at Flagler Youth Center, Southern Insurance Associates, East Coast Gym and Flagler Humane Society.  Recently students completed resume writing by Career Source, “Know the Law” presented by DJJ, Wells Fargo conducted financial and banking workshops, students worked one on one with DSC representatives, and National Guard completed an overview for students on military options.

 This month we are also celebrating Danielle Junior’s one-year anniversary teaching with RTS Congratulations to Danielle!  We are a year-round program and are taking applications now.
